Position Summary:

The ideal candidate has a strong sales mentality, a desire to succeed, excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, and a strong customer focus. This is an in‑office position.

• Assist customers with various insurance needs: new policies, edits, payments, renewals, reinstatements, and general questions.
• Inspect vehicles and assess their condition to determine acceptable insurance risk.
• Seek out new clients, generate prospective client lists, and develop clientele through networking and marketing. Collaborate with the office manager on marketing strategies.
• Perform administrative tasks, handle policy renewals, and coordinate with underwriting to complete policies.
• Assist with daily housekeeping routines.

• High School Diploma or GED (preferred).
• Customer Service/Insurance Sales Experience (preferred but not required).
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred but not required.
• Valid and current Personal Lines or Property & Casualty License in California (highly preferred but not required).
• Reliable transportation for daily marketing.
• Basic computer knowledge and strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision and quickly learn proprietary software.
• Completion of continuing education courses (paid by A‑MAX) as required to maintain active license status with CDI.
