Salary: $130,000 - $150,000 per year

We are seeking a dynamic, passionate, and experienced Pre-Litigation Attorney to join our team. This is a permanent position that offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of cases and legal matters. You will be responsible for managing pre-litigation cases from inception to settlement.

We handle cases related to brain injury, dog bites, slip and fall, medical malpractice, and wrongful death. If you are a dedicated attorney with a strong work ethic and a commitment to excellence, we would love to hear from you.

Job Details:

Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of pre-litigation cases, which includes brain injury, dog bites, slip and fall, medical malpractice, and wrongful death.
• Conduct initial case evaluation and investigation to determine the viability of potential cases.
• Communicate with clients and opposing counsel to negotiate settlements.
• Prepare and draft legal documents, including demand letters, pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and responses.
• Collaborate with legal assistants and paralegals to manage case deadlines and ensure timely filing of documents.
• Provide legal advice and representation to clients in pre-litigation matters.
• Participate in legal research and analysis of applicable laws, statutes, and judicial decisions.
• Attend pre-trial hearings, depositions, and mediations as required.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice law in the state and in good standing with the state bar association.
• Minimum of 5 years of legal experience in personal injury law, specifically in pre-litigation.
• Proven experience handling cases related to brain injury, dog bites, slip and fall, medical malpractice, and wrongful death.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong legal research and analytical skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage a large caseload and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Proficient in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong commitment to client service and demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients and colleagues.
