About The Opportunity
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for effectively and efficiently maintaining, diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment, as well as performing preventive maintenance following corporate standards for quality and safety.
Essential Functions:

1. Helping meet or exceed production, waste and quality goals through a quality maintenance program
2. Troubleshooting electrical and mechanical problems to repair and maintain all equipment in accordance with plant policies and procedures
3. Using micrometers, calipers, tachometers, and dial indicators for precision measuring
4. Calibrating process instruments
5. Maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations
6. Work any shift, holidays, weekends and overtime as needed Perform other duties as assigned by management/supervisors

Required
- Experience working with 480-volt motors
- Experience troubleshooting motors and motor control circuits
- Experience reading technical drawings and schematics
- Ability to fabricate, measure, cut, and assemble metal components with precision i.e. mounts, guards
- Skilled in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding techniques
- Strong lathe and mill knowledge
The entry pay rate is $36.42 during training, with a certified rate of $38.56.
