Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), CF, Valley State Prison, Chowchilla

Join California Correctional Health Care Services as a Licensed Vocational Nurse and support the health and well‑being of residents at Valley State Prison. This is a part‑time position working 12 hours per week.

Pay Range: $1,773.90 – $2,004.60 per month (based on experience and skills).

• Provide basic and technical nursing care to patients in the correctional health setting.
• Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments under the delegation of a Registered Nurse (RN) and the supervision of a Supervising Registered Nurse (SRN) II/III.
• Perform patient assessments, monitor clinical status, and document care according to department protocols.
• Collaborate with physicians, other healthcare providers, and the care team to ensure timely and appropriate use of resources.
• Support daily health‑care operations and communicate effectively with patients and team members.

• Valid, active license as a Licensed Vocational Nurse in the State of California.
• Strong clinical skills in nursing care within a correctional environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
