Overall Job Summary

The Team Member is responsible for interacting with customers and team members, supporting selling initiatives, and performing assigned tasks while delivering a Legendary Customer Experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work scheduled shifts and have the ability to work varied hours, days, nights, weekends, and overtime as dictated by business needs.
• Deliver Legendary Customer Service through GURA:
  Greet, Uncover Needs & Wants, Recommend Solutions, Add Value & Appreciate the Customer.
• Perform duties such as operating cash registers, merchandise recovery, freight processing, merchandising, assembly, janitorial duties, price changes, and assisting customers with loading.
• Ensure safety and well-being of birds, sanitize poultry tanks, and maintain bird care as required.
• Complete all documentation related to job duties.

Required Qualifications

No experience required; retail, farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge is preferred. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required. Ability to read, write, and count accurately is essential.

Preferred Skills

• Farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ethical issue resolution.

Working Conditions

• Indoor environment with moderate noise, generally hard surfaces, adequate lighting and temperature.
• Shifts generally no less than 4 hours, may exceed 8 hours.
• Promote safety and adhere to safety guidelines.

Physical Requirements

• Move and transfer merchandise up to 50 pounds.
• Push/pull merchandise with equipment, lift overhead, stand, kneel, crouch, climb ladders, and operate store equipment.
• Complete documentation accurately and communicate effectively.
• Handle birds/poultry and complete training/certification as required.
