JOB REQUIREMENTS AND DUTIES

You must be 18 years of age and have a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record, access to an insured vehicle for delivery, and the ability to navigate delivery areas. You should possess navigational skills to locate addresses and be able to navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings.

Many team members began as delivery drivers and today are successful Domino’s franchise owners. Opportunities exist from delivery driver to management, general manager to franchisee or Manager Corporate Operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

General job duties for all store team members include:

• Operate all equipment.
• Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk-in cooler.
• Prepare product.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and facility daily.

Training:
Orientation and on-the-job training.

Communication

Skills:

Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions; ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders over the phone and in person.

Essential Functions/

Skills:

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (calculator may be used).
• Ability to make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Motor coordination for precise movements with speed.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.

WORK CONDITIONS

Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when performing outside tasks; in-store temperatures range from 36°F to 90°F+; exposure to fumes, cornmeal dust, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts.

SENSING

Talking and hearing on telephone; near and mid-range vision; depth perception; ability to differentiate hot and cold surfaces.

TEMPERAMENTS

Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze data, and make decisions.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Standing, walking, sitting; lifting up to 50 pounds, carrying and pushing tasks; climbing stairs; balance of reaching, bending, crouching, and handling tools and ingredients as described in the original.

DRIVING SPECIFIC JOB DUTIES

Deliver product by car to customers and deliver flyers/door hangers.

REQUIRES

Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record; access to an insured vehicle for delivery.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

Navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area; ability to navigate delivery sites including multi-story buildings while carrying product.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS (DELIVERY)

Carrying pizzas and beverages; driving to deliver within a designated area; walking between store, vehicle, and customer location; navigating stairs during deliveries.
