A major construction company in Saudi Arabia is seeking an experienced Senior Cost Control Engineer to join its projects in Makkah and Madinah
. This opportunity is ideal for civil engineering professionals with extensive experience in cost control, budgeting, and financial monitoring within large-scale construction and contracting projects.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring project cost efficiency, supporting budget management, and maintaining financial control throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities- Monitor and control project costs throughout all construction phases.
- Prepare project budgets, cost forecasts, and financial reports.
- Analyze project expenditures and identify cost variances.
- Support project planning by providing cost-related insights and recommendations.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and commercial teams to maintain budget compliance.
- Review subcontractor costs, change orders, and contractual cost implications.
- Develop periodic cost control reports for management.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and project financial objectives.
- Identify opportunities for cost optimization while maintaining project quality and timelines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- 7–10 years of experience in the construction or contracting industry.
- Previous experience with leading contracting companies such as Hassan Allam, Orascom Construction, Talaat Moustafa Group (TMG), Redcon Construction
, or similar major contractors. - Strong understanding of project cost control principles and budgeting.
- Excellent analytical, reporting, and financial management skills.
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience working on large-scale construction projects is highly preferred.
- SAR 10,000 – SAR 15,000 per month (Competitive compensation package)
