About the RoleThis role requires providing comprehensive support to the Sales teams to promote outside sales, operations, and customer service for our entire customer base. The Sales Project Specialist will be the sales department liaison for all reporting, customer master, and special project needs, and will play a crucial role in the company’s growth and profitability through constant communication and coordination with sales and sales support teams.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Assist the sales staff to support the company’s sales growth initiatives through the implementation of enhanced analytics, processes & procedures.
- Create, maintain & improve reporting to be used by all levels of the organization, and deliver comprehensive insights to improve data‑driven decision making.
- Manage all customer master data setup ensuring accurate customer relationships.
- Ensure communications to the customer base are clear, timely and accurate.
- Collect, enter, analyze and report field inventory data.
- Improve field inventory collection processes, working with cross‑functional teams to build systems that enhance the customer experience.
- Maintain & improve reporting on Points of Pain and communicate cross‑functionally to improve quality and satisfaction.
- Continuously improve training documentation for internal Sales and Sales Support team members by creating and updating Standard Operating Procedure documentation.

- Associate degree or bachelor’s degree in a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
- 3‑5 years direct experience in the truck equipment industry preferred.
- Read and interpret general business correspondence; respond appropriately.
- Technological skills in data organization/usage tools and systems, including SQL coding, BI, and Salesforce.
- Familiarity with manufacturing operating software (TCM), Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) in a Windows environment.
- Excellent organizational, detail, and follow‑up skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and a team player.
- Able to talk and hear.
- Frequently sit, stand, walk, reach and grasp.
- May be required to lift 40 lbs or less.
- Normal office environment or exposure to noise when working in a production area.
- Varying working conditions while traveling on company business.
