Position: Construction Estimator for BarrierFree Home Modification Co

We specialize in barrier-free home modifications and the installation of top-quality assistive medical devices. We're looking for an experienced Estimator to join our team. Our ideal candidate is a team player who possesses strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills, a deep understanding of construction projects/costs, has the strong ability to close deals and manage ongoing complex construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:Preparing comprehensive, accurate, detailed cost estimates for projects.Evaluating and quantifying materials, labor, equipment costs, subcontractor quotations while ensuring profit margins are met.Discussing proposals, requirements, and contract specifics to customers.Conducting site visits independently or with a team of medical professionals to gather all necessary data for a quote.Preparing and maintaining a directory of existing suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors and the ability to recruit new vendors and subcontractors.Negotiating with vendors and contractors to obtain the most cost-effective bids.Keeping up-to-date records of all estimation documentation.Requirements:
Proven experience as a Construction Estimator with at least 5 years of experience in a similar role.Familiarity with medical equipment installation and handicap accessibility.Proficiency in Xactimate or a similar software.Excellent analytical skills.Outstanding negotiation and communication skills both written and verbal.Familiarity with ADA guidelines.Detail oriented and highly organized.Excellent problem-solving capabilities and ability to come up with creative solutions.Knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.Benefits:
