About the Role- Coordinate, process, and track returned automotive parts from dealerships, service centers, and customers.
- Ensure accurate documentation, compliance with warranty policies, and efficient inventory management.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams, suppliers, and clients.
- Support quality control, minimize losses, and improve overall return process efficiency.
- Open to individuals located in Madison Heights, MI and surrounding areas.
- Contractors will be paid by third‑party payroll supplier ETeams
, which serves as the employer of record.
- Receive, inspect, and process returned parts according to company guidelines and warranty policies.
- Verify part numbers, quantities, and conditions against return authorization requests and packing slips.
- Prepare and maintain all required documentation, including return authorizations, credit memos, and claim forms.
- Ensure proper filing and organization of warranty‑related records for auditing.
- Follow manufacturer guidelines and regulatory standards for hazardous or restricted components.
- Maintain compliance with environmental and safety regulations for packaging, shipping, and disposal.
- Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in the returns workflow.
- Accurate and timely processing of returned parts.
- Comprehensive documentation and reporting of all returns.
- Compliance with warranty policies and regulatory standards.
- Efficient inventory management and quality control.
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or technical certification preferred.
- 2+ years’ experience in parts returns, warranty processing, logistics, or automotive repair/service.
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts and warranty policies.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Excellent organizational and time‑management skills with attention to detail.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for cross‑functional teams and suppliers.
- Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Internal inventory management systems for tracking and processing returns.
- Communication tools for coordinating with internal teams, suppliers, and clients.

- Accenture Direct Sourcing will perform initial screening, then ETeams will conduct next steps.
- Contractor role administered through third‑party payroll supplier.
- Supplier determines compensation, benefits, and applicable employment policies.
- Contractor not eligible for Accenture employee benefits.
- Supplier shall ensure compliance with federal and state laws (ADA, FMLA, local ordinances).
- Contractor must have work authorization without future visa sponsorship.
- Current employees of an Accenture client or affiliated business may not be eligible.
- Contractor candidates shall not be required to disclose sealed or expunged records of conviction or arrest.
