Rotomold Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring rotational molding equipment to produce plastic parts for snowplow and ice control products. This role includes preparing molds, handling materials, performing quality checks, and completing routine maintenance. The operator ensures products meet safety, quality, and production standards while troubleshooting equipment as needed. In addition, the role supports team activities, training, and company guidelines, and may require overtime and/or alternate shift coverage in collaboration with other departments.

- Set up and operate rotational molding equipment according to production specifications.
- Load and unload molds, ensuring correct placement of resin, inserts, and components.
- Monitor molding cycles, machine settings, and product quality throughout production.
- Perform mold changes, basic machine adjustments, perform upkeep and preventive maintenance.
- Trim, finish, and assemble molded parts as required.
- Inspect parts for defects, run test cycles and perform quality audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Monitor equipment operations; identify and correct issues, assist with troubleshooting, and escalate as needed.
- Operate a powered industrial truck as needed for material handling.
- Communicate effectively with other departments to support production flow.
- Keep work area organized and ensure molds, tools, and equipment are clean and properly stored.
- Follow all safety procedures and report unsafe conditions promptly.
- Participate in training, team activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Adhere to company policies and conduct guidelines.
- Execute other duties as assigned.
- Ability to perform basic math
- Ability to stand, walk, reach above shoulders and outward.
- Ability to bend, squat and crawl.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
