Packer-Afternoon Shift

Second Nature Brands is seeking a Packer for the afternoon shift (3pm-11pm) at the Kar’s Nuts Products facility located at 1200 East 14 Mile, Madison Heights, Michigan.

$15.00/hr - $16.00/hr

• Pack our products in various packaging
• Ensure dating code is properly placed and legible
• Check for any compromises to packaging
• Ensure each box has correct number of items
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Follow all GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), Q&FS (Quality & Food Safety), and OSHA Safety policies
• Perform any other job‑related duties as assigned

• Be 18 years of age or older
• High school diploma or GED
• English language proficient
• Positive attitude
• Ability to work well with peers and supervisors
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and safely around automated and semi‑automated machinery
• Previous manufacturing experience (preferred)

• Standing for 8–10 hours a day
• Walking up and down stairs
• Lifting up to 50 lbs frequently
• Working in slightly elevated temperatures
• Wearing proper personal protective equipment (PPE) provided by the company

• Regularly work near moving mechanical parts and in a high‑noise level environment; personal protective equipment is required
• Indoor food manufacturing setting
