CNC Cutter Grinder Operator – 5-Axis (ANCA / Walter)

Primary Tool is a growing manufacturer of carbide round tool specials, and we’re looking to add an experienced 5-axis CNC cutter grinder operator to our team.

This role is specifically for CNC cutter grinders. This is not a mill or lathe position. Mill- or lathe-only experience will not be considered.

• Set up and operate 5-axis CNC cutter grinders (ANCA, Walter)
• Manufacture custom carbide round tools and specials
• Work from prints, models, and tool specifications
• Inspect tools for accuracy, geometry, and finish
• Collaborate with engineering and operations to meet quality and delivery goals

• Hands-on experience running ANCA and/or Walter CNC cutter grinders
• Direct experience with carbide round cutting tools
• Understanding of tool geometry, flute grinding, and edge prep
• Ability to set up jobs and troubleshoot cutter grinder processes
• Experience limited to CNC mills or lathes does not qualify for this role
