FOOD SERVICE WORKER (FULL TIME AND PART TIME)

Location:

Henry Ford Madison Heights - 27351 Dequindre, Madison Heights, MI 48071. Online applications only.

Schedule:

Full time and part time; days and hours may vary, including rotating weekends and holidays.

Pay: $15.00 per hour fixed.

Requirement:
Previous food service experience preferred; willing to train.

Prepares, presents and serves food as needed.

• Perform prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables.
• Weigh and measure designated ingredients.
• Carry pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from work stations, stove, and refrigerator in accordance with safety standards.
• Store food in designated areas following wrapping, dating, food safety, and rotation procedures.
• Clean work areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Distribute supplies, utensils, and portable equipment.
• Utilize approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures, and standard portion control.
• Serve customers in a friendly, efficient manner following outlined steps of service.
• Resolve customer concerns and relay relevant information to supervisor.
• Ensure compliance with company service standards and inventory and cash control procedures.
• Assure compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous food service experience preferred.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to follow food safety and sanitation policies.
• Physical ability to lift up to 25 lbs and work in standing position for 8 hours.
