Retail Merchandising Specialist – BDS Connected Solutions, LLC
Join us as a Retail Merchandising Specialist and work across a range of consumer electronics brands. This part‑time role offers weekly pay, paid training, flexible assignments, and the opportunity to work independently.
Responsibilities- Travel to assigned retail stores to conduct visits within your territory.
- Audit, maintain, and install consumer electronics displays and products such as TVs, tablets, headphones, speakers, printers, and phones.
- Occasionally collaborate on 2–3 person projects such as appliance or TV installs.
- Build and maintain positive in‑store relationships.
- Complete assignments as directed by your BDS Manager.
- Ensure timely reporting from your mobile device.
- Schedule and complete work per BDS Standards and Expectations (provided during onboarding).
- Receive materials at home or pick up at Fed Ex and bring to retail locations as requested.
- Perform other tasks as directed by management.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- Previous merchandising, customer service, and/or retail experience preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship‑building skills.
- Proficient using a personal Android or Apple device (Smartphone/Tablet) with GPS for uploading photos, submitting reports, and accessing documents.
- Must own a basic toolkit (BDS reimburses toolkit cost after probation).
- Basic toolkit includes: multi‑screwdriver, torx bit set, hammer, cordless drill, allen wrench, box cutter, rubber mallet, socket set, needle‑nose pliers, precision wire cutters, crescent wrench, putty knife, microfiber cloth, and Goo‑Gone.
- Complete BDS online training courses within the required timeline before working in‑store.
- Minimum age 18; legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

- Flexible availability Monday – Friday, early morning to midday, with occasional weekend hours.
- Minimum 20 hours per week.
- Ability to drive on behalf of the company, meeting company guidelines, with reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and proof of auto insurance.
- Travel within a 60‑mile radius of the designated market; BDS pays drive time and mileage between store locations.
- Regularly stand, walk, bend, reach overhead, crouch, kneel, balance, and drive.
- Regularly lift and carry 40+ pounds.
- Climb a ladder more than 10 feet tall.
- Complete/pass certification (online and in‑store) to use moving equipment such as Big Joe/Little Joey and forklifts, if required.
- Occasionally travel via flight or other modes of transportation.
The pay range for this position is based on relevant experience, education, skills, internal equity, and market data. Final compensation will be determined during the interview process and may vary. All compensation complies with applicable federal, state, and local minimum wage laws.
