Overview
Performs ultrasonography procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision. Uses independent judgment ingenuity and initiative to perform state‑of‑the‑art diagnostic ultrasound procedures.
QualificationsMinimum Knowledge, Skills and Experience required:
Education:
High School Diploma or GED required.
Graduate accredited ultrasound program.
Require ARDMS registered within 1 year of hire or 2 years from graduation date, whichever is later.
BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
Experience:Six months to one year clinical experience preferred.
Additional Skills/Abilities:Must possess excellent communication skills with the ability to work in a fast paced environment, requiring prioritizing and changing task frequently and quickly. Must be willing to learn vascular ultrasound.
