In this role you will transform large datasets into actionable insights and engaging visuals to support decision-making. You’ll work within the Data & Analytics team for NSWC Corona, translating complex data into clear findings for stakeholders. You will build and maintain data pipelines, ensure data quality, and automate analyses using Python. This position offers the chance to impact defense-related data initiatives while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

- Analyze large datasets to identify trends and insights
- Create interactive visualizations using Tableau
- Present findings to stakeholders clearly
- Clean, transform, and preprocess data for accuracy
- Develop and maintain data pipelines for efficient data flow
- Ensure data integrity and perform quality checks
- Write Python scripts for data manipulation, analysis, and automation
- Leverage Python libraries (Pandas, Num Py, Matplotlib) for advanced analysis
- Collaborate with data engineers to integrate Python-based solutions
- Support cross-functional teams with data needs and analytical support
- Contribute to development and implementation of data strategies
- Provide training and support on data tools and techniques
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- 2-5 years of experience as a Data Analyst or similar role
- Proven experience with Tableau for data visualization
- Strong experience in data processing and cleaning
- Proficiency in Python for data analysis and scripting
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Familiarity with SQL and database management systems
- Knowledge of statistical methods and techniques
- U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain security clearance
