About The Role As a Machine Operator at Innovative Plastics, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our production machinery. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machines, including assembly lines, press machines, overhead cranes, deburring equipment, micrometers, clamp trucks, mold machines, and band saws. Your primary goal will be to ensure that all machines are running at optimal levels, and that production targets are met on time and to the highest quality standards.
Minimum Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience operating and maintaining production machinery
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Experience with injection molding machines
- Able to lift 50 lbs
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles
- Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
- Operate and maintain various production machines, including assembly lines, press machines, overhead cranes, deburring equipment, micrometers, clamp trucks, mold machines, and band saws
- Ensure that all machines are running at optimal levels, and that production targets are met on time and to the highest quality standards
- Perform routine maintenance on machines, including cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting parts as necessary
- Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with machines, and make necessary repairs or adjustments
- Maintain accurate records of machine maintenance and production output
As a Machine Operator, you will use your skills in operating and maintaining production machinery, troubleshooting and diagnosing problems, performing routine maintenance, and maintaining accurate records. You will also use your mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills to ensure that all machines are running at optimal levels, and that production targets are met on time and to the highest quality standards. Additionally, you may use your experience with injection molding machines, familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles, and knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) to further enhance your performance in this role.
