General Manager- Madison

Overview

General Manager - Madison at Taziki's Mediterranean Cafe. Management position requiring leadership to achieve store goals and ensure quality guest experiences.

• Analyzing the store’s P&L and identifying paths to meet cost goals
• Writing weekly staff schedules to balance people development and labor costs
• Setting the tone for shifts and providing clear directions to staff
• Mentoring staff, supervising training, development, and evaluations
• Maintaining food safety standards and product knowledge
• Preparing catering orders with the team
• Supporting or working at various stations (including kitchen) as needed
• Ordering products, supplies, and produce
• Screening, interviewing, and onboarding hourly employees
• Managing cash handling and payment procedures
• Serving guests and creating meaningful connections
• Maintaining Health Department standards throughout shifts
• Following alcohol handling policies and procedures
• Ensuring proper food handling and storage
• Maintaining hygiene, appearance, and uniform standards

• Must be 21 years of age
• Minimum of 3 years of upper management experience
• Strong work ethic, customer focus, and passion for fresh food
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Desire to build, develop, and mentor a team
• Goal-oriented with the ability to set and hit targets
• Experience with restaurant Profit and Loss statements
• Working knowledge of Google Suite and computer literacy
• Excellent leadership, customer service, and communication skills
• Ability to recruit, train, retain, and motivate quality employees
• Motivated, self-initiated, and team-oriented
• Strong time management and organization skills
• Decision-making and problem-solving abilities
• Must obtain a Food Manager’s certification shortly after starting employment

A typical work day at Taziki’s may include morning, mid, and evening shifts with weekend and holiday variations. Hours will vary by store. You may work in a restaurant kitchen environment with equipment such as flattop grill, oven, slicer, mixer, and food processor.
