Entry-Level Service Mechanic/Technician - Forklifts & Heavy Machinery

Join us as an Entry-Level Service Technician at WMH Solutions. This role focuses on performing maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment. You will learn mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills under experienced technicians and contribute to client operations.

• Assist with regular maintenance and repairs on material handling equipment.
• Learn diagnostic techniques under the guidance of senior technicians.
• Provide customer service communication regarding equipment status.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed.
• Follow all safety regulations and standards.
• Participate in continuous improvement training.

• Diverse job sites.
• Weather-ready – wet, humid, hot, or cold.
• Must embrace dust and noise.

Capable of lifting 50+ lbs, standing for extended periods, and working in varied environments.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training in mechanics is a strong plus.

Skills & Technical Knowledge: Foundational mechanical knowledge, familiarity with hand tools and diagnostic equipment.

Customer Focus: Strong interpersonal and communication skills; service-first mindset.

Problem-Solving Mindset: Quick to adapt, resourceful, and eager to troubleshoot issues.

Certifications:

Valid driver’s license required; forklift maintenance/repair certifications beneficial.
