Job Description:We are seeking Industrial Electricians for a local project in Decatur, AL. This role focuses on the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems in industrial environments. Candidates must ensure compliance with all safety standards and electrical codes. Local candidates only (no per diem or travel pay).
Key Responsibilities:- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in industrial facilities, including machinery, control panels, and power distribution systems.
- Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Perform conduit bending, wire pulling, and electrical panel installations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues in industrial equipment and systems.
- Ensure adherence to national and local electrical codes and workplace safety protocols.
- Collaborate with other team members to meet project timelines efficiently.
- Proven experience as an industrial electrician with a minimum of 4 years in the field.
- Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems, including motor controls, PLCs, and power distribution.
- Ability to use tools and equipment safely and effectively.
- Comprehensive knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and best practices.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and effective communication.
- Must be local to the Decatur area (no travel or per diem offered).
