The Madison Concourse Hotel has an opening for a full-time Maintenance Engineer Technician to join our close-knit Engineering department. We are looking for someone who has a great eye for detail, can provide great customer service, and takes pride in their work. The Maintenance Engineer performs a variety of tasks to ensure our facilities are in excellent condition in order to provide superb service to our guests.

Our engineering team works 8 hour shifts starting as early as 7am and ending as late as 11pm.
The ideal candidate will availability to work weekends on a rotating schedule and the ability to work morning and/or evening shifts
. While not required, previous maintenance experience- especially in a hotel environment- is strongly preferred.

We offer a competitive starting wage of $20-$23, depending on experience.

• Maintain the physical functionality of the hotel, including guest rooms, public spaces, pool, and work areas, sometimes working in awkward positions or small spaces.
• Respond to guest calls and team member work orders to assess and repair non-functioning machinery and equipment
• Perform a variety of repair and maintenance tasks, including basic carpentry, plumbing, light electrical work, and masonry.

• Ability to lift 50lbs and use a ladder to access the roof via ceiling entry points.
• Frequent lifting, climbing, pushing, pulling, bending, walking, crouching, kneeling, stooping, and reaching overhead for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to grasp hand tools and communicate effectively as required.

High School or better.

Knowledge of maintenance and repair in areas such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, painting and general building systems.

Previous maintenance experience.
