YARD/WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE

Acme Brick Company (a Berkshire Hathaway Company) is a leader in the manufacturing and distribution of building materials. We operate in 13 states and are looking for a "best in class" Yard/Warehouse Associate who excels in organization, maintains a personable disposition, and supports our operations by loading and unloading products to/from delivery vehicles and assisting customers with product distribution.

The ideal candidate is flexible, reliable, and able to handle the variety of tasks that come daily. You will maintain procedures, communicate effectively, and deliver excellent customer service, contributing to our organization’s efficiency.

• Handle and store materials and items received in the designated area by predetermined sequence.
• Fill and stock orders for customers and transporters.
• Load and unload product for delivery, operating forklift to move material.
• Verify quantity of materials shipped and received.
• Maintain yard and warehouse as needed.

• 2+ years of related experience.
• Certification in forklift operation.
• Able to lift 25–50 pounds regularly.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• High degree of math aptitude.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
