• Analyze RFQ requirements, technical drawings, and associated specifications.
• Prepare metal fabrication quotations.
• Self‑motivated, financially accountable with top line sales responsibility.
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision and make independent decisions.
• Compute costs of materials, purchased items, fabrication processes, and time requirements.
• Solicit and collect material costs.
• Identify optimal material utilization and fabrication methods.
• Establish fabrication rates and options for fabrication methods.
• Maintain metrics related to quality and timeliness of estimates and win/loss ratios.
• Review and recommend updates to work center rates and rate tables.
• Review job costing to establish accuracy of estimates and processes.

• Minimum eight (8) years of experience in a similar role.
• Extensive metal fabricating print‑reading skills and ability to interpret/analyze specifications and tolerances.
• Knowledge of metal fabrication processes.
• Attention to detail.
• Effective communication with customers, suppliers, and colleagues.
• Ability to make sales calls and develop new customers.
