Position: Application Support Analyst - Healthcare - $65K (Madison CT)
Overview

We are seeking an Application-side/Software Support professional for a growing company. This role focuses on software support on the application side, testing and documenting new software releases. This is not a Desktop or Help Desk role.

Location:

Madison, CT. Must have SQL queries or Crystal Reports experience.

Responsibilities
  • Provide application-side software support, troubleshooting, and issue analysis to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Test and document new versions of software releases.
  • Track detailed information about each customer’s service or support request and document the diagnostic steps as they troubleshoot the reported problem.
  • Research to identify the correct solutions and communicate findings to customers and internal teams.
  • Coordinate with teammates and use tools such as SQL, Oracle, JIRA, Outlook and Teams or Webex as needed.
Qualifications
  • 1-2 years of experience supporting software applications with experience writing queries in SQL, Oracle, or Crystal Reports.
  • Specialized experience working with database-driven applications and business-driven customization in a software application environment (not Help Desk, not Desktop).
  • A degree in Computer Science is preferred.
  • Previous experience with ticketing systems (Jira, Service Now, Zendesk, etc.) preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem solving and research skills with the ability to take responsibility and own the problem and resolution.
  • Ability to write and communicate technical problems with software developers and internal personnel as needed.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong customer service-oriented phone skills.
