Orthopedic Surgery Locums Job in Indiana February and April Dates
One of our partnering hospitals is seeking locums coverage for 24-hour call for a week in February and April, with the potential for ongoing dates throughout 2026. The Orthopedic Surgeon will be covering call at a rural facility, for trauma cases, falls and emergency joints only. The locums will have an average of 14 cases per week with 5 ORs available and designated block time.

Open Dates:
February 5 7a - February 15 7a
April 3 7a - April 10 7a
Job Details:
24-hour call coverage
7a-7a, including weekends
Cases: some trauma, FX, falls and emergency joints only. No elective cases
Average volume: 14 cases per week
Facility Details:
Location:
Rural
Not a designated trauma center
5 ORs available and Block time for emergent cases
Imaging on site: X-ray, CT, MRI
Support staff:
Designated surgery tech, NP's in clinic but not rounding, Hospitalist team on site
Locums will be practicing independently
Candidate Requirements:
Indiana License or active IMLC
Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery
