Role OverviewAs a Maintenance Foreman, you will supervise repair and preventive maintenance across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and grounds work. The position requires Monday‑through‑Friday work, 7.5 hours per day, and may involve supervising incarcerated individuals and other staff. Advancement into supervisory roles is available.
Salary StatementThe salary starts at $42,900.00 and may be adjusted based on education and work experience.
A Day In The Life – Essential Functions- Solicit cost estimates or proposals.
- Estimate costs and work hours for maintenance projects.
- Oversee and participate in preventive maintenance and repairs.
- Maintain accountability of materials, tools, equipment, and vehicles.
- Ensure compliance with safety requirements for yourself and personnel.
- Recruit, select, onboard, and train employees.
- Set expectations, measure progress, provide feedback, and evaluate performance.
- Ensure work adheres to quality standards, deadlines, and procedures.
- Workday attendance at assigned worksite(s) is essential.

What You’ll Need For Success- Broad knowledge of electrical, carpentry, plumbing, and painting trades.
- Ability to plan, schedule, and supervise job sites.
- Capability to fill in for other foremen.
- Skill to read, analyze, and interpret blueprints and remediation plans.
- Thorough knowledge of standard practices, materials, procedures, and trade equipment.
- Knowledge of OSHA standards, MSDS, and safety precautions.
- Ability to plan and estimate project proposals in terms of equipment, man‑hours, and costs.
- Capacity to endure inclement weather.
- Leadership skills to delegate work, set direction, and manage workflow.
- Proficiency in coaching and developing employee skill sets.
- Ability to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
- No degree required.
- Must maintain a valid Driver’s License.
The position may serve as a team lead for an assigned work group and provides supervision for incarcerated individuals, requiring a high level of judgment and care.
