Madison Junior High School is seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as the 7th Grade Softball Coach. Madison Junior High School is committed to providing an excellent experience in both academics and athletics for our student athletes. We have recently upgraded many of our Athletic Facilities, including a newly sodded grass playing surface, turf field, and weight room.
Position Overview The Softball Coach will be responsible for leading and developing a competitive softball program that instills discipline, teamwork, and sportsmanship in all student‑athletes.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement effective coaching strategies to enhance the performance and skill development of all student‑athletes.Foster a positive and inclusive team culture that promotes academic achievement, personal growth, community involvement, and sportsmanship.Collaborate with the athletic department, school administration, assistant coach(s) and parents to create a supportive and engaging environment for the softball program.Coordinate and execute offseason training programs to enhance players' physical conditioning, safety, and overall performance.Demonstrate a commitment to the academic success and character development of student‑athletes.Promoting student‑athletes, growing the program, and building the program for the future.Help manage the softball program at all levels, youth, middle and high school.Qualifications
Teaching certification preferredCoaching experience at the high school level or beyondStrong organizational and communication skillsKnowledge of softball strategies, techniques, and safety protocolsAbility to positively influence and mentor all student‑athletesInterested Applicants should apply at:
