The Project Coordinator is a proactive and detail-oriented individual who will support our initiatives across different projects and warehouse operations. This individual will ensure program compliance, facilitate training, manage equipment inventory, complete onsite inspections, record keeping, and help foster a strong, proactive quality control within a safety culture. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated individual with a willingness to learn and upskill in a fast-paced environment.
Candidate will be working with our project teams daily and must be able to communicate and promote both cross-team and with individual functionality. This role requires a blend of physical aptitude and technical knowledge as it relates to safety and the scope of the job. This is a 24/7 project operation where this position requires flexibility in hours, as it can be morning or afternoon scheduling, assigned according to operational need.
- Implement and Enforce Program Standards
:
Assist in applying and upholding company policies and procedures across all job sites, ensuring a proactive and consistent safety & quality approach. - Maintain and Facilitate Orientation
:
New hire orientation training and dispatching. - Conduct Inspections and Audits
:
Perform regular site safety inspections and assessments; document findings, identify hazards, and verify timely corrective actions. - Training and Awareness
:
Coordinate and track safety training for employees and contractors. Promote knowledge of emergency procedures, proper PPE usage, and site-specific safety protocols. - Facilitate Toolbox Talks and Safety Meetings
:
Support team LEADS in toolbox talks and safety meeting material and facilitation. Being very knowledgeable of projects, SOP guidelines to communicate, teach, and explain to the project team. - Maintain Necessary Levels of PPE
:
Maintain PPE in the office to support field operations. - Ensure Regulatory Compliance
:
Support compliance with OSHA and other applicable federal, state, and local safety regulations. - Incident Response and Reporting
:
Assist in incident investigations and root cause analyses. Maintain accurate records of incidents, corrective actions, and ongoing safety measures. - Collaboration and Engagement
:
Partner with the management, and office personnel to champion safety initiatives. Actively participate in safety meetings and promote a culture of safety awareness. - Maintain Safety Documentation
:
Ensure all safety records, including inspections, training logs, safety bulletin boards, and incident reports, are accurate, organized, and audit-ready. - Drive Continuous Improvement
:
Analyze safety trends and suggest performance improvements. Research and propose tools, technologies, and best practices that enhance safety outcomes. - Fleet Management
:
Will be responsible for preventive maintenance inspections and repairs as it relates to state safety guidelines and regulations. Will control the daily dispatching of the fleet to ensure accountability and take corrective actions as needed.
- High school education or equivalent experience.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Punctual, results-oriented, and focused on problem-solving.
- Must have strong PC skills to include experience with the full Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint).
- Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Reasonable ability to self-manage especially in the areas of planning, organizing,
delegating and decision making.
