Provides personal care assistance to patients under the direction of licensed personnel and/or Administrator.

Job Summary:

Provides personal care assistance to patients under the direction of licensed personnel and/or Administrator.

• Performs direct patient care duties as assigned.
• Triage and rooming of patients.
• Provides for patient safety.
• Possesses the ability to perform day to day clerical task and related duties.
• Participates in ongoing educational activities.
• Completes assigned goals.

• Approved nursing or medical assistant course.

• Skill in communicating clearly and effectively using standard English in written, oral and verbal formats to achieve high productivity and efficiency. Skill to write legibly and record information accurately as necessary to perform job duties.

• Approved nursing or medical assistant course.

• Computer literacy. Maintain certification.
• Phlebotomy experience.

• Certified by a National Certification Board (National Center for Competency Testing) or obtain within 6 months of hire date. BLS certification within 14 days of hire date.
• Certified by a National Certification Board (National Center for Competency Testing) or obtain within 6 months of hire date.
