Directs the activities of maintenance operations in a timely and efficient manner in order to support plant operations. Directs the work of group leaders, maintenance technicians and HVAC maintenance technicians within the department.

Maintenance Manager

• Must know all Safety Requirements, Departmental and Plant Wide.
• Must be able to maintain departmental 5‑S for assigned areas and equipment.
• Must be able to complete required departmental paperwork. Have general knowledge of computer software and maintenance work order system.
• Supervises the activities of group leaders and maintenance technicians.
• Coordinates with other departments to provide services and follows up to assure completion.
• Maintains adherence to company policies, safety standards and good housekeeping practices.
• Assures that tools and equipment are properly maintained and all preventative maintenance is performed to assure efficient operations.
• Assures efficient and economical utilization of materials, improvement of methods, and elimination of wasteful practices.
• Responsible for administering employee performance evaluations and recommendations of wage increases.
• Establishes and maintains good employee relations and adheres to proper disciplinary measures when required.
• Supports the implementation, achievement, and maintenance of the Quality and Environmental Policies and Procedures.

• High School graduate or GED with additional specialized education or training.

• Three to five years of supervisory related experience.

• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Hydraulics and Pneumatics.
