General Laborer – Coatings Laboratory

KTA-Tator, Inc. (KTA) is a 100% employee‑owned materials engineering firm focused on corrosion protection and asset integrity. We are looking for a motivated, inquisitive, and mechanically inclined General Laborer to support our Coatings Laboratory in Madison, MS.

Job Type: Full‑time

Location: Madison, MS (KTA’s Future Labs office)

• Assist with preparation of laboratory samples, including coating application.
• Perform standard coating tests.
• Maintain laboratory housekeeping, safety, inventory, and equipment.
• Follow standard operating procedures.
• Actively engage as an employee‑owner, seeking process improvement opportunities.

• High School Diploma or GED (prior related experience may be considered in lieu).
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Physical requirements:
  
  ability to stand for long periods, type, speak, hear, lift up to 40+ pounds safely, wear a respirator, maintain good vision, and manipulate small objects.
