Part Time Merchandiser: Madison, MS

Job Description

American Greetings is a global leader in the celebrations marketplace. Join us as a Merchandiser and help people celebrate holidays and special moments by displaying and maintaining inventory of greeting cards, gift wrap accessories, party goods, plush and more across various retail locations.

• Starting pay: $11.70 per hour, with two increases during the first year.
• After 6 months: $12.40 per hour.
• After 1 year: $13.00 per hour.
• Flexible scheduling and paid training.

The route will service retail locations including 127 GRANDVIEW BLVD, MADISON, MS, . Weekly hours average 15, increasing to 25 around holidays. Ideal candidates are available during daytime hours, especially Monday mornings.

• Service stores on the assigned route, merchandising and organizing products, maintaining an organized backroom area, and performing inventory tasks.
• Communicate with store management regarding questions or concerns.
• Work in a fast‑paced retail environment using effective time‑management and organizational skills.
• Build relationships with retail store associates and management during business hours.
• Be available for additional working days and extended hours leading up to and following major holidays.
• Assist with store resets, including fixture work, product assembly, relocation, or removal as requested.
• Plan weekly service schedule and workload using a company‑issued tablet.
• Work independently and with a team.

No experience necessary. We will train.

• 18 years or older.
• English speaking, reading, writing, and understanding required.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Reliably reliable transportation (many locations per route).
• Reliable internet for job information and updates.
• Technological competency to use the company‑provided tablet for training and daily tasks.
• Availability to meet scheduling needs (occasional weekends, days before and after major holidays).

The job requires lifting, stooping, squatting, and standing throughout the workday. A stepstool may be used to complete some tasks.
