Ruan is now hiring full‑time Warehouse Associates for multiple shifts at our distribution facility located in Madison, MS. Responsibilities- Responsible for routine store‑keeping duties including receiving and unpacking inventory items, verifying quality and quantity, and referring decisions regarding no‑conformance with specifications to higher level staff.
- May be responsible for listing, pulling, packing, and delivering goods.
- Maintain a clean workspace and provide customer service.
- Operating stand‑up forklifts.
- Must be at least 18 years or older.
- Read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public; understand safety signs and signals; respond to official inquiries; and make entries on reports/records.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Passes training/orientation requirements including passing a certification test. If employed, must attend all training/safety meetings; failure to do so may be grounds for termination.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Work history for the past three years must be supplied by the applicant.
- All positions within the past 10 years must be listed.
- Inconsistencies in work history or incomplete applications will be reviewed and may disqualify the applicant for employment.
- Must pass a pre‑employment controlled substance test.
- Must be able to perform all job functions including lifting, bending, squatting, stepping, and sitting for extended periods of time.
- Criminal history may be reviewed and may be disqualifying depending on job relatedness.
- Any pending charges and less than “honorable” discharges from the military will be evaluated and reviewed.
- Other applicable state laws may limit consideration of offenses contained therein.
