Job Summary:
The Olsen College of Engineering and Science at Fairleigh Dickinson University, Florham Campus, seeks a broadly trained biologist for appointment to a full-time visiting lecturer position as a leave replacement for the Spring 2026 semester. The successful candidate will teach Microbiology for Health Sciences, a required course for Nursing students. The successful candidate will teach a lecture and multiple sections of the associated laboratory.
There is also potential for teaching other Nursing courses at FDU in the future. All courses are in-person at the Florham Campus. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Biology or related discipline; and teaching experience is preferred.

- Participate in curricular development and assist with learning assessment goals.
- Develop and foster a collaborative environment with department faculty.
- Perform services for the Department, College, and Campus community.
- Required to sign a waiver authorizing the background check and produce a Social Security Card.
