Job Summary

The Department of Social Sciences, History, and Criminal Justice is seeking part‑time (adjunct) faculty to teach sections of Sociology beginning in Spring 2026. Sections are 3 credit hours and meet Monday‑Thursday, Tuesday‑Friday, or as double blocks on different days including Wednesday. The position requires teaching two sections of Introduction to Sociology.

Required Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Sociology or an advanced graduate degree in Sociology.
• Teaching experience in a university setting.

Employment is contingent upon a satisfactory background check. Candidates for hire will be required to sign a waiver authorizing the background check and produce a Social Security Card.
