Base pay range$18.00/hr - $19.00/hr
We’re looking for a part‑time Dance Instructor with a strong focus on Hip Hop to join our team. You’ll bring energy, skill, and passion to our after‑school classes, inspiring students of all ages and abilities while fostering a safe and welcoming environment.
Schedule: Part‑time | Monday – Friday, 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM
What You’ll DoLead high‑energy Hip Hop classes and, as needed, teach other dance styles such as Creative Movement, Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Musical Theatre, Lyrical, and Modern.
Develop engaging lesson plans and choreography that encourage growth, creativity, and confidence.
Create an inclusive and positive atmosphere that keeps students motivated and supported.
Ensure safety at all times by following and enforcing YMCA policies and procedures.
Provide constructive, encouraging feedback to help students improve and celebrate their progress.
Collaborate with other instructors and staff to coordinate schedules, performances, and events.
Build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues through open and friendly communication.
Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and professional development opportunities.
