Salary Range: $34.00 To $37.00 Hourly
This is a part-time temporary January 2026 - May 2026 position.
POSITION SUMMARYResponsible for providing clinical services to a caseload of clients. Clinical duties with each case include: providing assessment, individual and family therapy, ongoing assessment, advocacy, and referrals when needed. Responsible for organizing and leading groups based off community need. Assisting Director with community outreach.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS- Provide clinical services and maintain a caseload of clients ranging from elementary school age through high school age and their families.
- Maintain a working relationship with school and community personnel throughout the year to coordinate care for clients.
- Organize, plan, and run groups and educational workshops based off of community need.
- Responsible for maintaining records and paperwork and available for weekly staff meetings and weekly clinical supervision meetings.
- Conducts presentations, speaks to local groups, and performs other outreach tasks to promote awareness of the Madison Area YMCA and Project Pride’s work.
- Serve as a Y ambassador, participating in Y conferences, programs and activities, including the Annual Campaign and special events.
- Adhere to policies related to boundaries with youth.
- Attend required abuse risk management training.
- Adhere to procedures related to managing high-risk activities and supervising youth.
- Report suspicious or inappropriate behaviors and policy violations.
- Follow mandated abuse reporting requirements.
All YMCA staff are accountable for understanding the organization’s charitable status and mission to assure access for all through active participation in fundraising and philanthropy efforts.
- Work with the Development Team, HR and key philanthropy volunteers to increase your understanding and skill set.
- Participate in the annual campaign by identifying and recruiting member volunteers and soliciting donations.
- Build strategic relationships with members for year round member cultivation to increase the number of member campaign volunteers and donors.

- Master degree in Social Work or related degree
- Licensed NJ LSW, LCSW, LAC, LPC
- Previous experience working with children and teens.
- Proficient in use of computers.
- Ability to communicate effectively, bi-lingual Spanish a plus!
