Senior Software Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Madison, NJ.

We’re seeking a skilled Senior Software Engineer to maintain and enhance legacy .NET applications while ensuring seamless integration across multiple services. This role requires strong technical expertise and the ability to communicate complex concepts to diverse stakeholders.

• Senior Software Engineer will analyze and document business logic in existing .NET applications
• Understand workflows across multiple applications
• Integrate services for smooth operations and data flow
• As a Senior Software Engineer, you will communicate technical details to technical and non-technical teams
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver quality solutions

• Strong MSSQL and web services experience (REST/SOAP)
• Familiarity with Azure or AWS, CI/CD, and Dev Ops practices
• Proficiency in C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC
• Self‑starter with excellent problem‑solving skills

• Experience with large‑scale real‑time streaming/event systems
• AWS (Fargate, ECS, Cloud Watch, S3), Data Dog
• Node.js, Type Script

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
