Our Nutrition Assistant plays an essential role in the Dietary Department, helping ensure that patients, visitors, and staff receive healthy, well-prepared meals in a welcoming environment.
Position OverviewThis role involves a blend of food preparation, patient meal service, and customer-facing duties. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-focused setting.
Key Responsibilities- Cooking and daily food preparation
- Assembling patient meal trays according to dietary guidelines
- Preparing and maintaining the cafeteria buffet line
- Operating the cash register and assisting customers
- Washing dishes and maintaining a clean, safe work area
- Providing support to patients, visitors, and staff as needed
