Maintenance Technician

Job Description:
We are seeking a Manufacturing Maintenance Technician:

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $26.00 per hour DOE / DOQ

Expected hours: 40 per week

Responsibilities:

1. Repair, install, and adjust industrial machinery.

2. Troubleshoot and repair defective equipment.

3. Perform routine preventative maintenance.

4. Respond to work order requests in a timely fashion.

5. Basic knowledge of pneumatics.

6. Electrical basics.

7. Troubleshooting electrical controls and systems.

8. Ability to read electrical and pneumatic schematics.

9. Perform preventative maintenance on production and facility equipment.

10. Basic fabrication.

11. Ability to prioritize repairs.

12. Ability to complete a tasks on time and multi-task

13. Document detailed work activities in the work order CMMS. (Computerized maintenance management system).

14. Knowledge of PLC.

15. Familiar with variable frequency drives -

16. Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

1. Previous experience in machinery or other related fields.

2. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

3. Familiarity with industrial tools and equipment.

4. Ability to manage physical workload.

5. Must have computer skills (Microsoft Office, CMMS. Excel, etc.)

6. Understanding manufacturing processes and manufacturing equipment.

7. Must be familiar with normal shop equipment such as drill press, band saw, portable tools, and welding or HVAC experience.

8. Must be capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously.

9. Self motivator and positive attitude.

10. Ability to work in a team environment. Works well with others.

11. Ability to work rotating shifts. 40 + / hours week.

• M - F - 6am - 2:30 pm

12. Ability to work overtime and weekends, based on the needs of the business.

13. Ability to manage physical workload.

14. High school graduate or equivalent.

15. 2-year Technical degree desired.

Building Maintenance

1. Troubleshooting/repair heating and HVAC systems.

2. Painting and general upkeep of the building.

3. Minor plumbing.
