You will oversee the daily activities of the Business Office related to Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Cash Receipts (CM) and Payroll (PR) as well as provide assistance to the Executive Director and Department Directors in coordination with the central office accounting team.

M-F 8am - 4:30pm

- Accounts Payable: Receive, process, and enter all invoices, assigning the correct Cost Center and Spend Category for approval; review vendor statements and handle inquiries; and review invoices for possible resident charges.
- Accounts Receivable: Handle sensitive billing issues with residents/representatives, complete resident statement processing, and make collection attempts.
- Cash Management: Distribute and balance petty cash daily, balance the daily cashier log and deposits at least every five days, and submit deposit reports for posting.
- Miscellaneous/Reporting: Maintain monthly collection notes on AR accounts over 60 days, schedule monthly AR review calls, promote operational efficiency in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles
, and provide information for audits.
- Minimum of 1 year’s experience in full circle accounting, accounts payable, or business office administration preferred.
- General understanding of internal control procedures, accounting principles and best practices, effective oral and written communication skills.
- Computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, accounting software and other relevant business applications
