Your ResponsibilitiesAs a Master Automotive Technician, you will:
- Utilize your expertise to diagnose and repair vehicles for our guests.
- Gain hands-on experience with a diverse range of domestic and foreign vehicles.
- Conduct thorough and honest courtesy vehicle inspections.
- Collaborate with your team to address guest concerns swiftly and effectively.
- Uphold our high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization.
- Communicate effectively with the service department regarding any concerns.
- Work alongside fellow technicians to solve problems and achieve outstanding results.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A minimum of 5 years in high-level diagnostic work.
- ASE Certifications preferred, or a plan to achieve Master L1, A Tech.
- Proficiency in electrical diagnostics and the ability to read schematics.
- A commitment to long-term career development.
- Experience working on and diagnosing all makes and models.
- Your own toolbox and tools.
- A valid driver's license and insurability.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- A low comeback rate and a team-oriented mindset.
- Coachability and a positive, can-do attitude.
- High proficiency with technology and familiarity with various manufacturer software.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
In this role, you will need to:
- Occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds.
- Work with tools on vehicles lifted above your head.
- Stand for most of your shift and perform tasks that require crouching, squatting, and kneeling.
- Navigate tight spaces as needed for vehicle repairs.
- Demonstrate dexterity to efficiently use hand tools.
- Drive manual transmission vehicles and efficiently navigate a computer.
