Position Overview
Location: Madison or Milwaukee, WI (Hybrid)
Job Title: Advisor – Agile
Farwell Project Advisors, LLC is looking for an M‑shaped Advisor who brings depth in multiple disciplines and can collaborate across teams. The role focuses on Agile leadership, project management, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities- Lead agile teams and coach team members on frameworks such as SAFe, LeSS, Scrum, Kanban.
- Manage budgets, scope, and deadlines, and know when to push back on requirements.
- Mentor and hold fellow practitioners accountable; provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across disciplines to solve complex client needs.
- Deliver multi‑mode communications that address audience-specific needs.
- Communicates effectively across audiences.
- Customer focus – build strong relationships and deliver customer‑centric solutions.
- Self‑development – seek new growth opportunities.
- Plans and aligns – prioritize work to meet commitments.
- Directs work – delegate and remove obstacles.
- Drive results – consistently achieve outcomes under challenging circumstances.
- Balances stakeholders – anticipate and balance needs.
- Manages complexity – synthesize complex information for solutions.
- Proficient with modern office productivity, communication, and collaboration tools.
- Experience:
3–5+ years as an agile practitioner; agile coaching required.
- Interpersonal savvy – comfortable engaging diverse groups.
- Action oriented – tackle challenges with urgency and energy.
- Situational adaptability – adjust approach in real time.
- Optimizes work processes – focus on continuous improvement.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any field, or 3+ years of applicable experience.
Travel ExpectationsRemote work is common; hybrid schedules and occasional on‑site collaboration are expected for client engagements.
Work Environment & Physical Demands- Operate primarily in an office setting; use computer, phone, printer, etc.
- Long periods of sitting; lift up to 10 pounds routinely, up to 20 pounds occasionally.
- Occasional travel to client sites and events.
