After School Site Supervisor – YMCA of Dane County

Exciting Career Opportunity:
School Age Child Care Site Supervisor.

Full Time:
Monday - Friday 10am-6pm.

• Lead the Fun:
  Oversee and coordinate amazing, licensed child care programs that are safe, fun, and engaging for kids.
• Be the Expert:
  Ensure our programs meet all standards – from YMCA policies to state licensing and accreditation requirements.

  Facilitate fun, social, and interactive activities, and adapt them to meet each child’s needs.

• Education:
  
  Must be Lead Teacher qualified (80 hours of Child Development)
• A Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred but not required. Must be 18 years old with a High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience:
  
  At least 1 year of experience in administration and guiding staff, and 6 months in child care.
• Skills:
  
  Strong leadership, initiative, and the ability to provide clear guidance to a diverse team.
• Knowledge:
  Understanding of how to effectively work with children, and familiarity with state licensing and accreditation rules is a plus.
• Transportation:
  Reliable transportation is a must.
