Safety Manager | Madison, WI

Responsibilities

Help Haz Tek build the future of tomorrow as a Safety Manager near Madison, WI! You'll support specific project needs by ensuring best practices are implemented, safety compliance requirements are met, and enhance a culture of safety!

• Oversee all aspects of a commercial construction project ensuring OSHA compliance
• Collaborate with executive management on contractor safety plans
• Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments across job sites
• Oversee all subcontractors and contractors ensuring competency
• Oversee Fall Protection, Scaffolding, Steel Erection, and Excavation

• Minimum 7-10 years direct construction safety experience required
• Active BCSP certification required (CHST or CSP preferred)
• Experience as an Owner's Rep required
• Degree in a safety related field preferred
• OSHA 510 and or 500 is a plus
• Safety experience supporting data center builds or mission-critical infrastructure
• Advance knowledge of construction safety standards
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills
