Construction Technician

Tetra Tech is looking for a Construction Technician who will perform tasks involving close support of heavy equipment operations at various sites. The successful candidate shall also have the ability to operate safely, efficiently, and effectively forklifts, wheel loaders, and compaction equipment.

This position requires the employee to be a U.S. Citizen due to the projects they will be working on. • Operate and maintain construction equipment and machines.
• Help other equipment operators and other skilled labor when necessary.
• Prep construction/remediation sites by cleaning obstacles and hazards.
• Load or unload construction materials and debris.
• Put together and take apart temporary structures and apparatuses in support of construction and remediation tasks.
• Remove, fill, transport, or compact earth.
• Follow instructions from supervisors.
• Assist craft workers.
• Be ready to learn from on-the-job training when necessary.
• Perform site clean-up.

• A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• The candidate must have a minimum experience of 1 year in the construction and remediation industry.
• Must have a valid driver’s license in good standing.
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Workers must be punctual and reliable.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.
• Ability to do physical labor and other strenuous physical tasks.
• Must have experience in the construction and remediation industry.

Salary range is between $21-25 per hour.
