As a Controls Estimator, you’ll be responsible for developing accurate and timely cost estimates for projects ranging from small upgrades to large‑scale installations. Reporting to the Estimating Supervisor or VP of Preconstruction, your role will include:

• Preparing detailed proposals and cost estimates
• Reviewing construction documents and identifying scope
• Performing takeoffs using specialized software
• Soliciting pricing from vendors and subcontractors
• Attending pre‑bid meetings and site inspections
• Supporting change order pricing and project turnover
• Maintaining estimating systems and BIM/design setups
• Collaborating with cross‑functional teams to ensure project success

We’re looking for someone with a strong foundation in controls estimating and construction, plus the skills to thrive in a collaborative and tech‑forward environment.

• Proven experience in controls estimating
• Ability to interpret technical specs, plans, and contracts
• Broad understanding of controls construction

• Tech‑savvy:
  Estimating software, Microsoft Office, FTP (training available)
• Strong communicator:
  Clear, professional verbal and written skills
• Trustworthy:
  Handles confidential information with integrity
• Organized:
  Prioritizes tasks and maintains attention to detail

• Primarily office‑based with occasional job site visits
• Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs occasionally
• Job sites may include exposure to noise, particles, and mechanical equipment
