Preconstruction Manager - Madison or Janesville, WI

A leading construction firm is seeking an experienced Preconstruction Manager to oversee the preconstruction phase of high-profile projects. This role involves estimating, budgeting, planning, and coordination to ensure that projects are set up for success from the outset.

• Lead the development of comprehensive project budgets and schedules, ensuring accurate and competitive cost estimates.
• Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to develop project scopes, plans, and pricing strategies.
• Identify and evaluate project risks, offering solutions to mitigate potential issues before construction begins.
• Prepare and submit competitive bids by analyzing project specifications, drawings, and proposals.

• Proven experience managing preconstruction for large-scale projects ($100M+).
• Design-Build experience highly preferred.
• Strong estimating and leadership skills.
• Based in Madison or Janesville or willing to relocate.
