Impact Life has an opportunity for a Creative Brand Strategist to join our team.
The Creative Brand Strategist brings our mission to life by leading the creative development of marketing campaigns, brand experiences, and visual storytelling across digital and physical environments. This role plays a central part in shaping how our brand connects with key audiences through brand strategy, brand systems and brand architecture.
The individual selected for this position will travel up to 50% of the time, must live in our service territory, and is expected to follow Impact Life s Work From Home Policy. To view a map of our service territory, view the image here:

Responsibilities
Brand Initiative Creation & Collaboration
- Facilitate creative direction and campaign concepting for Partner for Life initiatives and mission-aligned storytelling
- Support strategic objectives and initiatives through campaign messaging, creative strategy, and design coordination
- Collaborate with internal teams to create branded content and assets tailored to specific partner and audience segments
- Guide creative development across paid, owned, earned, and shared media in collaboration with digital and content teams
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to support the creation of content in two primary categories - education (i.e., microlearning) and storytelling
Brand Storytelling, Experience & Environmental Design
- Develop and maintain brand playbooks, ensuring design consistency and clarity across all creative outputs
- Guide and review brand visuals for use in signage, environmental design, and fleet branding (vehicles, facilities, events)
- Bring new creative approaches and ideas to how the brand shows up across campaigns, content, and real-world touchpoints
- Ensure creative outputs reflect the brand s tone, values, and audience needs
Brand Systems & Creative Operations
- Provide creative quality assurance (QA) for visual and written assets across the marketing team
- Oversee the organization and structure of our digital asset management (DAM) system in partnership with the Multimedia Designer
- Partner with the Multimedia Designer to maintain and distribute branded templates, design files, and campaign assets
- Facilitate marketing s oversight of Fresh Service ticketing and (as it relates to internal workflows and partner resources)
Partner Engagement & Alignment
- Collaborate with partner-facing teams to ensure creative strategies and messaging resonate with and support partner needs
- Co-create outreach tools and marketing kits that strengthen relationships with drive hosts, donors, and community partners
- Support the development of tailored storytelling frameworks that deepen partner involvement and promote shared mission alignment
- Gather feedback and insights from partners to inform creative direction and brand storytelling opportunities
Competitive & Market Analysis
- Conduct regular competitive audits to identify creative trends, whitespace opportunities, and emerging strategies in nonprofit and healthcare marketing
- Analyze industry benchmarks and partner activity to inform positioning, visual identity updates, and campaign differentiation
- Translate market research and partner feedback into actionable insights that guide brand evolution and audience engagement
- Stay current on cultural and design trends that influence partner perception, loyalty, and long-term brand connection
What does it take to change the world as a Creative Brand Strategist
- 5-7 years of experience in Marketing. Brand strategy experience preferred.
- Bachelor s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Graphic Design, or related field is required.
- Equivalent combination of work experience and education may be considered.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Canva, as well as video and motion graphics software (Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects).
- Strong understanding of design principles, typography and color theory.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly One Note, Word and Outlook.
- Creative thinker with strong understanding of visual design principles.
- Exceptional critical thinking skills required, with a solutions-oriented approach and a growth mindset.
- Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills.
- Excellent time management skills with ability to manage deadline-driven projects in a fast-paced environment.
